Court against my ex-husband soon. In short, he's on loan on my truck and holds the title for the ransom unless I give him $5,000

I made a post here a few weeks ago about going to court against my soon ex. In short, he's on loan on my truck and holds the title for the ransom unless I give him $5,000. He and my mom gave $5,000 in 2016 when I was 17 and in high school to help me get my first car. Anyway, I served him and he replied me again but we hit a roadblock. He "lives" in a trailer at his son and wife's house. It is a giant estate with several different homes for family members. Well my ex is dating her daughter-in-law's mother so he actually lives in the house with her but he still seems to say he lives in the trailer on the side his son lives (the houses are right across from each other but different addresses). We served his girlfriends home where he actually lives and he responded to the service, but now no legal document including applying for mediation or a hearing, they keep coming back to the sender and claiming he doesn't live there. Now what  when they initially served him his girlfriends son was the one in the house and he specifically said "he's on vacation now" so they subbed the son. I'm not sure if I make any sense but if I do, what happens now? They're all from the same family, they're all on the same property, and they're all playing these stupid games. We cannot change the address in the court papers, so should we start from the beginning? I am located in Oregon Thank you Free Legal Advice Team
