Would I be able to sue somebody for photoshopping an image and involving it as evidence to have me captured?

Would I be able to sue somebody for photoshopping an image and involving it as evidence to have me captured? My ex photoshopped a pic of his neck and said that I slapped him, it's v plainly photoshopped, when police showed up when he called he just had his image , there were no markings on him of an attack. .. what sort of legal advisor would I be able to get for this?
