This week I received an email from some external charging liason expressing that my ppo protection has "just paid 7k" and my patient obligation is APPROXIMATE 23k" and that I can do an installment plan in the event that I don't have the cash . I called and talked with this "patient supporter" who's mane was on the email and he has me three way call my protection to check whether we coukd haggle to have them pay more. They said the allure cutoff time of 1 year has passed. The"patient advocate" requested that I document one and mail it to Aetna which I did yesterday. He said to get back to him when I hear. I'm debilitated with stress … I'm humiliated to say that before the medical procedure , I have no memory of what I marked . I trusted their verbal guarantee of just 4K from cash on hand … thanks ahead of time for any guidance
