Howdy! I have an inquiry regarding guardianship I presume. My girl is 8. She has never met or addressed her dad. He wasn't on her BC, however we have had a paternity test done and he pays CS. My objective is for them to have a relationship. I simply need to go with regards to it the correct way. He will document administrative work in Fl (we are in TN) for shared time, similar to summers and each and every other significant occasion. I'm good with this. He is a decent father to his different children. What's more I have confidence he would be with her too. My anxiety is I truly feel like they need reunification visits first with an emotional well-being proficient before she is transported off to his home for quite a while. Is that something the appointed authority should consequently set, or something I really want to advocate for? Right now, he actually hasn't addressed her. He needs it done through the court to safeguard himself. He fears she can be utilized to control him, similar to, me not giving him access. I could never. Yet, I get his anxiety. Furthermore I'm good with holding up a piece longer to make it lawful. All in all, how would it be a good idea for me to expect and what would it be a good idea for me to assist with keeping this protected and fair? My little girl's prosperity is my principle concern. I firmly feel she ought to have a relationship with him and that could help her.
