what to think of my situation. So Monday of this week our landlord tapped a paper to all our apartment doors and said a painter will be by to paint our doors Wednesday through Friday sometime. They didn’t come Wednesday so we figured they come Thursday. My bf set and alarm at 10 am to get up in case they come just to find that had already been in the apartment and our door was cracked open for paint to dry. I have cats and we were sleeping. I had no 24 hour notice just a note saying they’d come Wednesday thru Friday. Is this ok for them to do?! I’m kinda not ok knowing they just came in while we’re sleeping.
