My son is 27yo has paranoid schizophrenia and is actively using IV meth. He was attacked by 2 dudes causing his jaw to break, he had surgery, plates in both sides and wired shut. I allowed him# to live with me while his jaw healed with the agreement he would go to a hospital I found that treats mental illness and drug addiction, but now that his jaw is healed he is refusing to go to the hospital AND I can’t get get him to leave my house! He doesn’t have anywhere to go and is in desperate need of psychiatric care, because of the laws and lack of recourses in my area I can’t make him go to hospital. He absolutely can not live with me, he is in deep psychosis and it is scary plus the drug use is unmanageable. What can I do to get him out of my house? Or forced to get treatment?

BUT THEY WILL RELEASE HIM UNLESS YOU ALSO SPEAK WITH THEIR STAFF AT THE FACILITY THEY'LL TAKE HIM TOO.
