My neighbor had his property surveyed and informed me mine was wrong.

I live in Galveston, Texas. I recently purchased a home that came with a survey. My neighbor had his property surveyed and informed me mine was wrong. He then put up a six foot wood fence eight inches from my house. I can’t even get in that small space to paint /repair my home.  

Any advice?

If you find out he was in fact wrong I wouldn’t say anything. Just act dumb and take it down. NAL and this could be bad advice. But this is what I would do! “You had a survey done? I did not know that! Hmmmm shame. I have a survey as well and I thought this was my fence. I just needed to move it a little!”
