My daughter, who just turned ten, was assaulted by her assistant coach. It was a verbal attack with threats and insults, only the pointing fingertip touched her physically. These are names that we as a family don't even use. We contacted the appropriate people; the school, the YMCA and the sheriffs department. We think the coach was drunk because it was completely irrelevant, but we have no proof. We have a witness and are awaiting a forensic interview with our daughter at the request of the detective. My question is; the investigator mentions assault on a minor, but also either an additional charge or a more severe charge because she holds a coaching position. We are in Texas. Can anyone tell me about these charges? Thank you
