i went to court and got a 10 day restraining order against my abusive ex

On January 14 I went to court and got a 10 day restraining order against my abusive ex and today I came back to the courtroom to see if the restraining order would be permanent. When my case was called I was told the order was not being processed.

  I know he knows something is up considering he made several social media posts about me and his new "girlfriend" deleted her incriminating comments on said posts. so he avoids being served.

  I also feel like the police delivering the service are not doing their job given that I gave them her home address, her new daughter's address and her work address/working hours which should have been easy for them. to serve.

  I received another 10 day order today and am cleared to return Feb 8 but my question is what can I do to make sure the police take this seriously and what will happen if he avoids service again?

  I fear for the lives of my family as well as myself and feel like nothing is taken seriously when the police were the ones who recommended the restraining order in the first place. thanks in advance
