I have a question about an injury, and if I have a lawsuit...

Last summer I was on an indoor trampoline, I wasn't jumping, I was just going down the stairs. I got to the bottom, I quit, the ground sank and I lost my balance. When this happened I broke my ankle in 3 places and sprained one side.
I DID NOT need surgery but couldn't walk for 4 months, had to rent a scooter to get around my house ($70/m), had to count on other people to help me with household chores and my 2 children, and now I need physical therapy.
I didn't sign a waiver there because I wasn't jumping and they said only jumpers needed a waiver.
  What do you think?
......
NAL- If you didn’t sign a waiver, you have a lawsuit. They’re responsible for injuries that occur on their property, if it’s directly caused by their negligence.

I’d start a claim.
