i'm a British Citizen and occupant of Canada (Calgary explicitly) when I fly to the USA from Canada

Hi all. ESTA/I94 question - i'm a British Citizen and occupant of Canada (Calgary explicitly) when I fly to the USA from Canada, I will in general remain for some time as I visit family (my child is concentrating in the US). this specific outing i'm on now will be 60 days. All that I read discloses to me that to 'reset' ESTA days and not exceed you need to leave North America, issue is I live in North America. I could travel to the UK, however I dont live there, so how does the ESTA/i94 work for my situation?

answer

You need to leave North America regardless of whether you live in Canada. On the off chance that you have a Canadian identification it's unique.

While it's anything but a standard… ordinarily you should be out of the US for 90 days after a stay in the US so they don't believe you're attempting to dodge the framework. So regardless of whether you took a trip to the UK and afterward a few days after the fact they might let you back in. Everything relies upon who checks the framework when you tenant.
